Utica woman arrested after speeding through checkpoint

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Utica Police Department has announced the arrest of a Utica woman during a DWI checkpoint, early Sunday.
According to Police, at approximately 2:00 a.m., UPD Officers were on patrol under Operation STOP DWI when they observed a vehicle driving at an excessive rate or speed on the wrong side of the roadway. 
They conducted a traffic stop on Mohawk St. and interviewed the driver, who has been identified as Jasmin Bostick, 22, of Deborah Dr., where they became concerned about the driver's ability to operate a vehicle. 
They conducted an investigation into her sobriety, and they found that she had a BAC of .15 %. 

Bostick has been charged with failure to keep right, speeding, and two counts of DWI.
