On Tuesday, October 9, Utica Mayor Robert M. Palmieri announced the City of Utica's Genesee Street Corridor Improvement and Downtown Parking Project Plan with hopes of re-branding Utica. The proposed project plan has incorporated a number of goals and implementation strategies of the recently adopted Neighborhood-Based Master Plan for the City of Utica.
