Uvanni Motors to help Humane Society of Rome through November

(WKTV) - Uvanni Motors of Rome is teaming up with the Humane Society of Rome throughout November to help homeless pets.

Through November, visitors to Uvanni Motors showroom on Rome-Taberg Road can help fill the trunk of a 2007 Toyota Camry with food and items. Items needed include copy paper, scoopable cat litter, bleach, fleece blankets, large rawhide bones, Pup-Peroni dog treats, Beggin' Strips dog treats, soft cat treats and catnip. 

For every Facebook "like" at, $1 will be donated to the Humane Society.

Those who donate will receive $100 off the advertised price of a car, a free gift for your pet and a $5 gift certificate to All Creatures Boarding Facility in Rome. There will also be a drawing for a pet gift basket.

The Humane Society of Rome will be at the showroom with adoptable pets at 11 a.m. Nov. 16.
