(WKTV) - More than 600 wrapped gifts were picked up Friday at the Carbone Auto Group by various charitable organizations.

Each year, the employees of Carbone rally together and buy toys and clothing for children in need. This year, seven local organizations are on the receiving end, as well as two families who get help through the Municipal Housing Authority

"This is one of our most meaningful contributions of the year," said Alex Carbone of Carbone Auto Group.

The organizations who picked up gifts Friday are the House of the Good Shepherd, RCIL, UCP, the Family Nurturing Center, the ARC, Thea Bowman House and JCTOD.
