Verona woman accused of intentionally ramming truck

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - a Verona woman faces charges after she allegedly intentionally rammed an unoccupied pickup truck, the Oneida County Sheriff's Office said.

Tracey A. Milotte is charged with driving while intoxicated and criminal mischief.

According to authorities, on Sunday around 10:30 p.m., deputies were called to Joel's Steakhouse in the Town of Verona for a reported accident. Deputies determined the incident was domestic-related.

Authorities say Milotte intentionally struck an unoccupied 2014 GMC Denali pickup truck with her 2010 Chevrolet Silverado truck several times, then fled the scene. Deputies located Milotte and arrested her on a DWI charge. While Milotte was being booked, she allegedly damaged property in the holding cell and was issued an appearance ticket for criminal mischief.

She was arraigned on the DWI and sent to jail. On Monday, she posted her $250 bail. Once authorities received the estimate of repair for the truck, she was arrested on Tuesday on a felony criminal mischief charge. The repair estimate on the Denali truck was $5,799.

Milotte was sent back to jail on $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond.
