Warrant leads to additional charges for Utica man

(WKTV) - A Utica man was arrested Tuesday after a warrant led to the discovery of marijuana, cash and a gun, Utica police said.

Jesse Patterson, 35, of Mason Street is charged with menacing in the second degree and criminal possession of marijuana in the second degree, a Class D felony. A possible gun charge is pending.

According to police, the UPD Metro Unit at the U.S. Marshal's New York-New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force executed a warrant at a home on Mason Street Tuesday. Patterson was wanted for a Sept. 2 incident in which he is alleged to have threatened two people with a gun. During the arrest, officers located and seized 708 grams of marijuana, rifle and $4,870.
