Water Safari: Where healthy living never stops

By WKTV News

OLD FORGE, N.Y. (WKTV) - Summer is officially upon us, and with that, summer attractions are here.
Enchanted Forest Water Safari opened its gates for the season, as it remains the largest water theme park in New York State.
With 32 water rides, and 50 attractions, walking the park can be quite the workout.
"In totality if you're walking around, it's about 60 acres in the park," said Katie Wojdyla, VP and Marketing Director of the park. "You're moving around a lot in a water park, so by bringing something to eat healthy for the day, and moving around a lot, it ties together with the health aspect."
Enchanted Forest is one of the few theme parks left that allows you to bring in a cooler, and they said there are no plans to change that.
Our own Kristen Copeland spent the day walking around the park, in order to see just how much people travel within the boundaries of the popular summer hot-spot.
