Boil advisory in effect for parts of Town of Annsville

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - Parts of the Town of Annsville are under a boil water notice, the City of Oneida Water Department said.

Those who lost water service on Friday are under the notice. Those areas include: Amos Trailer Park, Collins Trailer Park, Leisure Village (Martin Court) Taberg Water District 75 (Matt & Sarah Drive) and residents serviced on Lee Center Taberg Road.

The order is because of a transmission main break that resulted n a loss of pressure in the district. The boil water notice is expected to be in effect until Feb. 6.

Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute and let it cool before using. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice.

No contamination has been detected. It is a precaution to ensure the water is safe.

If you have questions, call the City of Oneida Water at 363-1490 or the Oneida County Health Department at 798-5064.
