WATERVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Waterville man is accused of being drunk and driving with two children inside his vehicle.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Department says Christopher Strong, 23, was pulled over on Osborne Avenue in Waterville for not wearing his seat belt.

Further investigation revealed Strong's blood alcohol content was more than the legal limit. There was a three year old and a one year old in the vehicle at the time of his arrest.

Strong is charged with two counts of Aggravated DWI with a Child in a Motor Vehicle and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Strong violated Leandra's Law, which makes it a felony to drive a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol with a passenger under the age of 15.
