Waterville woman arrested for driving while impaired

N.Y. (WKTV) -State Police investigators say a Waterville woman was driving while impaired after taking prescription drugs, and was actually stopped in a driving lane on the thruway.

30 year old Brooke Lasalle of Waterville is charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs.

Police say a trooper came across Lasalle in her vehicle stopped in the driving lane of the Thruway. Luckily all other vehicles were able to avoid her.

Police say Lasalle was obviously impaired and stated she had taken prescription medication for a dental problem.
