Waterville woman pleads guilty to stealing money from credit union

(WKTV) - A Waterville woman charged in February after an audit showed she had stolen close to $60,000 from a credit union in New Hartford pleaded guilty Tuesday.

Catherine Marriott, 42, entered a plea of guilty to grand larceny in the third degree. She is scheduled to be sentenced on Feb. 11.

According to New Hartford Police, during a routine audit at UMICO Federal Credit Union, it was discovered Marriott had stolen $58,000 from the institution.
