Westmoreland man accused of menacing with a hammer

(WKTV) - A Westmoreland man is accused of menacing a family member with a hammer, New York State Police said.

Jason S. Tuttle, 29, of the 5200 block of State Route 233 in Westmoreland, is charged with criminal contempt in the first degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and menacing in the second degree.

According to officials, Tuttle was involved in a domestic dispute on Thursday. During the dispute, he menaced a family member with a hammer. He also violated an order of protection.

Tuttle was sent to the Oneida County Jail on $10,000 bail.
