Whittemore to return to court on January 7

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford man accused of killing his girlfriend in her college dorm room will return to court after the new year.
Motions were due Tuesday in Monroe County Court in the case of 21 year old Clayton Whittemore, who is accused of beating his girlfriend, Alexandra Kogut, also of New hartford, to death in her SUNY Brockport dorm room back in September.
Whittemore's attorney says the case has been adjourned until January 7, when motions will be argued and hearings held.
