Woman accused of firing flare gun into Sherburne building

(WKTV) - A Town of Otselic woman is accused of firing a flare gun into an office building in the Village of Sherburne, the Chenango County Sheriff's Office said.

Cheryl J. Sales, 53, of the Town of Otselic is charged with criminal mischief and reckless endangerment.

According to officials, on May 29, Sales allegedly fired a flare gun into the New York Central Mutual Insurance building in the Village of Sherburne. She was arrested June 30.

She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Village of Sherburne Court on July 24.
