LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Little Falls woman accused of killing an elderly man by running him over has decided to waive her felony hearing.

Jennifer Riesel, 28, was scheduled to be in court on Monday.

She is accused of killing Francis Nelson and she claims he offered to pay her $180,000 to end his life. Riesel tells authorities that Nelson claimed to have a terminal disease that he was dying from and knew that if he killed himself, his beneficiaries would not be able to receive his benefits.

Nelson's body was found outside of a car near farmland in Little Falls last month.

By waiving her felony hearing, Riesel's case now goes to a grand jury.
