Woman charged with DWI twice in two hours

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Whitesboro woman was charged with DWI twice during the overnight hours between Friday and Saturday.

Brenda Christie, 60, was first pulled over around 10:30 p.m. Friday night on Main Street in the village. She was charged for Aggravated DWI.

Whitesboro Police say she got back home around midnight and was pulled over again at 12:30 a.m., driving the same vehicle. This time she was pulled over during a traffic stop at the corner of Oriskany Boulevard and Clinton Street.

Christie was once again charged with DWI.

This time she was taken to the Oneida County Jail where she was being held on $500 bail. Christie will answer to those charges at a later date at the Village of Whitesboro Court.
