Young people flock to youth job fair

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - A youth job fair Wednesday at the Parkway Recreation Center in Utica drew local companies and young people dressed for success.

The youth were armed with resumes and were able to scope out opportunities from 25 different agencies.

"These are kids that have a lot of energy and are willing to work," said Mayor Robert Palmieri, "It's the foundation of what their life is going to be from this point on."

The program was organized by the Utica Youth Bureau and was offered to those from 14 to 21 years old.
