Colonie Bus Driver Charged with Sexual Abuse

By Cindy McNicholl

COLONIE, N.Y. (AP) - A part-time bus driver in suburban Albany
is charged with sexual abuse.
The arrest wasn't immediately publicized because police said the
case wasn't related to his position.
Officials said 40-year-old Marlyn Webster was charged with
felony sexual abuse and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a
child in connection with a two-year-old incident.
Webster was arrested for one incident with one victim that
allegedly took place in July 2004. He was arrested on May 31st and
released on bail the next day.
Webster was suspended last week after the South Colonie district
was notified of his arrest.
