NYC cabbie who hit tourist: Crash wasn't my fault

By WKTV News

NEW YORK (AP) - The taxi driver involved in the crash that cost a British tourist her leg says the accident was not his fault.

Mohammed Fasyal Himon said Friday he was "very sorry" about the accident. But he blamed a cyclist who pounded on his car and yelled at him for causing the crash.

British tourist Sian Green was hit at Rockefeller Center on Tuesday. She lost her leg below the knee in the accident. One of Green's doctors said she is likely to regain use of the other leg with physical therapy.

Fernando Mateo of the New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers joined Himon to announce the creation of a fund to help Green with medical expenses. They have raised $3,000 so far
