ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York regulators say utilities won't have any problem supplying natural gas this winter and consumers can expect a price break.
The Public Service Commission said Thursday there's enough gas and delivery capacity to meet the demands of a severe winter.
It also says the price of gas is expected to be 12 percent lower than last season because of earlier utility purchases and price hedging.
There are almost 4 million natural gas heating customers in New York.
