New York Sea Grant wants to hire boat launch stewards

OSWEGO, N.Y. (AP) - New York Sea Grant is looking to hire college and graduate students to serve as Launch Stewards to inspect boats and educate the public about aquatic invasive species this summer.

The stewards will work at boat launches in Cayuga, Jefferson, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, and Wayne counties.

They'll be stationed on Oneida Lake and on Lake Ontario between Henderson Harbor and Sodus Bay.
