State Police begins weekly "Warrant Wednesday" social media initiative

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - Teens and tweens use social media for "man crush Monday" and "women crush Wednesday".  Now, New York State Police have added, "Warrant Wednesday".
The new Facebook initiative features ten fugitives, one from each troop in New York State, every Wednesday on the State Police Facebook page.  Jack Keller, of the New York State Police, says they've had success putting pictures out there on a smaller scale and less regular basis, so now they're making, "Warrant Wednesday" a weekly initiative on their Facebook page.
Each of the ten fugitives featured has a felony warrant out for their arrest, and a corresponding local police number to call.
One of this week's fugitives, Denise Brown, has known contacts in Oneonta.

She's wanted for state and federal tax crimes.
