Man being held for questioning in woman's death
FORESTPORT, N.Y.(WKTV) - State Police in Remsen are investigating a shooting death and holding the man who called 911 for questioning.
Stacey Utter was found dead from an apparent gun shot wound at a home at 9220 Trestle Road in the Town of Forestport.
The investigation has revealed that Larry Utter, 49, called the Oneida County 911 center to report a shooting inside his residence.
When officers and EMS entered the residence, they located 45 year-old, Stacey Utter deceased from an apparent gun shot wound.
Larry Utter is being held for questioning regarding his involvement in the death.
State Police were assisted at the scene by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office and the New York State Forest Rangers.
The Investigation is continuing at this hour.
