Utica Boxing Association Booted:
The Utica Boxing Association is looking for a new home this afternoon. The building they occupy was bought by the Thea Bowman Center who forced them to leave. Those in charge of the Utica Boxing Association say they've served around 5,000 city youths throughout the years. This is the first time in their 14 year existence they've been unable to occupy their space in the old St. Francis de Sales building.

CNY Population Stays Flat:
New census estimates out today show that Central New York's population has remained relatively flat. Oneida County lost 80 people. Herkimer County, nearly 200. Overall however, the state's population actually rose slightly, to 19.5 million.

Jobless Claims Remain High:
New jobless claims last week fell more than expected but that bit of good news was offset...as continuing jobless claims set a new record for the eighth straight week. The official unemployment rate for February reached 8.1 percent, the highest in 25 years.

Timing The Major Issue For This Year's Boilermaker:
Preparations are already underway for this year's Boilermaker Road Race. Highest on the table is the timing issue. Race organizers say after last year's timing debacle, they plan to have more volunteers and may use a new system to time runners.


Great Heroes Breakfast Held At HCCC:
The American Red Cross of the Mohawk Valley honored its Great Heroes this morning. The Great Heroes Breakfast helps raise money to fund the emergency services that the red cross provides. This year's honorees are Senator James Seward and Assemblyman Marc Butler.
