Dorn Sentenced To State Prison:
A financial advisor convicted of stealing money from one of her client's account is heading to state prison. In a drama-filled courtroom this morning, a judge sentenced Doreen Dorn to the three and a half to ten and a half years in state prison. Three months ago, a jury convicted 62-year-old Dorn of Clinton of stealing thousands of dollars from the account of 91 year-old John Hatfield from 2003 to 2004.

Iranian Journalist Freed:
A lawyer for a U.S. journalist jailed in Iran says she has been freed from prison after an appeals court suspended her eight-year jail sentence. Roxana Saberi was convicted last month of spying for the U.S. and sentenced to eight years in prison. An appeals court reduced her jail term to a two-year suspended sentence.

Soldier in Custody Following Iraq Shootings:
Officials say a U.S. service member that opened fire on fellow members of the military is now in custody. He killed five and wounded several others at the main U.S. base in Baghdad. In a statement, the military says that the shooting occurred about 2 p.m. local time at Camp Liberty near Baghdad International Airport.

Stimulus Funded Roadwork Projects Will Begin Soon:
Despite the passage of the federal stimulus package, road work for local projects still hasn't started. However, local DOT officials say most of the work is bridge painting, cleaning and rehab. Contracts were awarded back in April, but the work isn't expected to begin until summer.

Shuttle Ready For Liftoff:
Fueling has started on Space Shuttle Atlantis for its mission to repair the Hubble Space Telescope. The 19-year-old observatory needs new batteries, gyroscopes, cameras and other equipment. NASA hopes to keep the telescope operating for another five to 10 years.
