Human Remains Found While Digging Pool in Taberg:
Authorities confirming the discovery of human remains. Investigators are at a home on Ranney Road in Taberg. State Police tell NEWSChannel 2 a person installing a pool found a human skull. This happened shortly after 9:00 this morning. We're told more digging turned up more bones. No other details are being released.

Partnership Plan Opinions To be Voiced:
People for and against Oneida County's 'Partnership Plan' with the Oneida Nation plan to make their voices heard at today's Board of Legislators meeting. The board will have to approve the plan in order for it to become valid. The board of legislators isn't expected to vote on the Oneida County Partnership Plan until two weeks from today.

Retail Sales Drop For Second Straight Month:
Retail sales fell for the second straight month in April. The Commerce Department reports a 0.4 percent slip last month. That follows a 1.3 percent drop in March. The two months of retail losses follows two months of gains, and optimism, in January and February.

Indian cafe Opens in Clinton:
Despite the bad the economy, another new business opened in Clinton. Owners cut the ribbon this morning on the Indian Cafe, on College Street. The cafe serves authentic Indian food including a daily lunch buffet. The owners are counting on the local school and college population to help their business become a success.

Ride For Missing Children Gets New Addition:
The Ride For Missing Children added a new element to the event this year. They painted a blue line along Genesee Street in preparation for the event. The ride itself is an annual event through many upstate cities including Utica. It was created as a fundraiser for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
