Ride For Missing Children Underway:
The Ride for Missing Children is underway. The message is to bring awareness about child safety and abduction prevention. Every year, hundreds get on a bike and ride 100 miles. The riders took off early this morning and are making their way to Whitesboro at this hour. Riders, along with uniformed honor guards, will lay a wreath full of flowers in honor of those children who are still missing.

KISS FM Switching Formats:
The popular music station KISS-FM announced Friday morning, it will be going off the air. Rozier Communications says the licensing agreements for the music it plays are very costly. It's the main reason why it decided to shut things down starting Monday morning. There will be no employees cut, but the programming will change and the station will be called something new.

Overlook Mansion Looks to the Future:
The historic Overlook Mansion in Little Falls was put up for auction and sold for $50,000 and one dollars. Now, the previous owners are hoping the new deed holder can put some life into the old property. It was run for many years as a bed & breakfast and even a restaurant.

Man Upgraded To Serious Condition:
A man whose car was hit by a falling tree has been upgraded to serious condition this afternoon. David Zoeckler of Clark Mills was driving on Limberlost Road Thursday when the strong winds caused a tree to fall onto the driver's side of his car. The car kept going, striking a telephone poll in the opposite lane. The car finally came to rest upside down in a ditch.

Man Who Threatened Governor Paterson Avoids Jail:
A Deerfield man who threatened Governor David Paterson has avoided jail time. Timothy Day was sentenced to five years probation in Oneida County Court Friday. The judge gave him a warning, not to do anything like this again unless he wanted to go to jail.
