Arrest Made in Herkimer Robbery:
An overnight development, an arrest has been made in the case of a Herkimer convenience store hold up. Herkimer Police say they've arrested 22-year-old Christopher David Pollard. He's now facing charges of robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. Police say Pollard allegedly threatened the convenience store clerk at a "nice and easy" on east state street. He didn't take any money. Police say they caught up with him at his apartment. He's being held at the Herkimer Police Department, until he can be arraigned.



Partnership Plan Public Meeting Tonight:
You've heard what politicians have to say about the Oneida Indian Nation and County proposal. Now its your chance to tell them what you think about the agreement. Tonight at 6:30 there will be an open meeting at Vernon-Verona Sherrill High School. This weekend people packed the Verona Town Hall to get a jump start on getting their thoughts out there. The county legislature takes a vote on the plan on May 27th. Then it must be approved by the state. If its passed, the nation will pay $55 million dollars to the county $30 million up front and $2.5 million over the next 10 years. The county must end its legal challenge to putting nation land into trust.



New Information in Deadly Rome Crash:
New information is due out today on details of a fatal car accident in Rome over the weekend. Rome Police still haven't released the driver's name because all family members must be notified first. However we do know that the driver was a male. The accident happened at the intersection of Turin Street and Chestnut Street on Saturday. Police say the car left the road, went through a grassy area and hit a tree. The driver was rushed to the hospital and later died. McBride Back on The Airwaves:
The "Big Show" is back. Longtime DJ Frank McBride is returning to the air waves on local radio, on 92.7 FM The Drive. You can catch is show beginning this evening. It will air every weekday from 6 to 11 playing adult hits.


Make Sure You Buckle Up!:
State Police and the Thruway Authority are teaming up this week for a Buckle Up New York campaign called Click It or Ticket. During the 14-day initiative expect, safety check-points and patrols along the Thruway. Last year, leading up to the Memorial Day weekend, 16,200 tickets were given out to people not wearing their safety restraints. If you get a ticket, it'll cost you. Expected to pay, at *least*... 50 bucks.
