MVCC Rome campus holds flu shot clinicROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Students, staff and faculty at the MVCC Rome campus rolled up their sleeves and received a seasonal flu shot on Tuesday. There have been availability issues this year, not only locally, but across the country as well. That's why the school teamed up with Rome Memorial Hospital to ensure a supply would be available. Last week, H1N1flu vaccines were administered on the Rome campus and the Utica campus of MVCC. The Oneida County Health Department said it continues to monitor influenza like illnesses in the county and schedule influenza seminars among area schools, including one for all area school nurses on November 3. |
