Health Officials: Adult is 9th H1N1 death in Oneida County

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Oneida County Health officials have confirmed that an adult has died from complications of the H1N1 flu virus.

They say the adult is from Oneida County but was being treated at a hospital outside the area. The person also had an underlying medical condition.

This brings to nine the number of Oneida County deaths that have been attributed to H1N1 flu since the virus was first seen locally back in June.

Two more open clinics are scheduled in Oneida County.

Saturday January 9th: 10AM - 2PM in the MVCC Alumni Center in Utica.
Saturday January 16th: 10AM - 2PM at the Griffiss Institute Technology Heights in Rome.
