UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Health care reform is taking center stage at Mohawk Valley Community College Wednesday as Congressman Michael Arcuri holds his first town hall meeting on the subject.

More than 200 people had to be turned away shortly after 4 p.m., as the theater was filled to capacity. Arcuri says he hopes to avoid the hoopla other town halls across the country have seen over the past month, including a press conference in Utica two weeks ago when a man in the audience interrupted House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer.

Arcuri says he hopes this will be a constructive meeting and that he still hasn't made up his mind about the president's health care reform plans.

The meeting got underway at 4 p.m. at the theatre of the IT Building on the campus of Mohawk Valley Community College.
