New report says NYRI Power Line Project creates serious problems

A new government report confirms what local and national leaders have been saying all along. According to the Government Accountability Office report, the NYRI Power Line Project does create some serious problems for the proposed corridor, including decreased property values, and potential safety and security risks.

Congressman Michael Arcuri says he will continue to fight NYRI's plans.

He also says an alternative power line corridor along the New York State Thruway could be a viable option.
