New York Regional Interconnect has to revise its power line application for a second time. According to the Public Service Commission, there needs to be a study that addresses how the line would impact the state's electrical system.

Also, aerial photos of the route do not give enough information. Senator Joe Griffo says this is further evidence the plan is a bad one and Assemblywoman Roann Destito added that NYRI is ignoring the possible impact on economic developments. A spokesman for the PSC says companies can resubmit applications as many times as necessary.
