Two of the four Cue Ball Murder suspects accept plea offers

UTICA - Two of the men charged with the beating death of Carl Hill over the summer have accepted plea offers extended to them by the Oneida County District Attorney's Office. It is the second plea offer extended to them.

John Almanza, plead guilty to first-degree gang assault for five years in prison. Corey Adam plead guilty to first-degree manslaughter, and will received 15 years in prison.

They will appear in court April 24 for sentencing.

Four men total were indicted in the beating death of Carl Hill of Rome. Prosecutors say Hill was struck in the head with a pool ball stuffed in a sock at a Westmoreland party over the summer, dying later from his injuries.
