Utica man charged after police find 68 bags of crack cocaine in residence

UTICA - A Utica man is facing numerous charges after a no-knock search warrant by police at his residence lead to the discovery of 68 bags of crack-cocaine, among other items.

Early Monday morning, Utica Police Departments METRO Unit, with members of the Utica and New Hartford Emergency Response Team executed a no-knock search warrant at 1204 Green Street in Utica.

Once inside the apartment, authorities found Colwyn Inniss, 25, along with electronic scales, packaging materials, an undisclosed amount of marijuana, cash, and 68 bags of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of approximately $2,500.

Inniss has been charged with several counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of marijuana.
