NEW YORK MILLS - A Westernville teen facing charges stemming from a fight at Holland Patent High School was in court Monday.

Seventeen-year-old Matthew Baker is accused of 2nd degree assault after police say he got into a fight in a hallway at the school. Officials say the victim suffered a fractured eye, crushed nasal cavity and a shattered cheekbone that required surgery.

The case has been adjourned until June 19, by which time the teen will have a public defender.
