"America's Most Wanted" says it will feature 1985 Whitestown murderUTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The national television show "America's Most Wanted" will feature a story on the 24-year-old murder of Kimberly Simon. The piece featuring Simon's murder will air sometime in February on the Fox television show. Simon's body was found off of Mohawk Street in Whitestown back in 1985 and Steven Barnes spent nearly 20 years in prison for the crime before DNA evidence set him free last year. Oneida County District Attorney Scott McNamara said people who live outside Central New York don't realize the case has been re-opened. He hopes the story will reach local people who've moved away and might have information. Most Popular
