Lipiec pleads guilty to kidnapping charges
HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Little Falls man who's facing charges for a number of sex crimes pleaded guilty Monday morning to separate charges of kidnapping.
Investigators said that back in February, David Lipiec, 42, gave a 29 year-old woman a ride from Cavallo's in New Hartford and held her against her will in his car and then his home in the Town of Danube. Monday morning, Lipiec pleaded guilty in Herkimer County Court to second-degree kidnapping and first-degree possession of dangerous contraband. Lipiec had been facing charges of unlawful imprisonment after he was accused in by a Frankfort woman, 22, of forcing her into his truck in March as she was walking along Route 5. That charged was rolled into the kidnapping charge. Lipiec pleaded guilty earlier in October to charges of first-degree rape for an attack on a 20 year old female after giving her a ride in his vehicle back in January. He will face 25 years in prison on Monday's charges when he is sentenced on December 1. Most Popular |
