Police search for driver who struck National Grid employee and drove off
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Police are searching for the driver of a pick-up truck who struck a National Grid employee who was directing traffic.
According to Utica Police, it was around 1:14 p.m. On Thursday, March 4, when a National Grid employee directing traffic at a construction site on Albany and Mummery Streets was struck by an unknown white male operating a red pickup truck. The truck is believed to be a Chevrolet S10 or similar in size and shape. The flagman who was struck was treated at a local hospital suffered from minor injuries.
