Cirino hearings to look at evidence, conversations with witnesses while in jail
UTICA - Wesley Molina-Cirino is charged with aggravated murder for the April shooting death of Utica Police Officer Thomas Lindsey.
Today, an Oneida County Court Judge heard testimony regarding information and evidence obtained by police prior to Cirino's arrest. Judge Barry Donalty will determine whether statements given by Cirino and others will be admissible during his trial which is scheduled to begin next month. Today, Donalty heard testimony from Utica Police and other investigators about statements given to them by Cirino before he was arrested, as well as statements he may have made after being charged with Officer Lindsey's murder. Donalty will hear more testimony tomorrow before making a ruling. |
