More than a month after the shooting death of Utica Police Officer Thomas Lindsey, investigators are still looking for clues and following leads.

In fact, for the past several weeks, state police divers have been searching the Barge Canal, following up on a tip.

Investigators tell NEWSChannel 2, there may be evidence related to the case in the canal, but they wouldn't elaborate on any specifics.

Lindsey was shot and killed after a routine traffic stop on Neilsen Street back on April 12th.
