SHANKSVILLE, P.A. (WKTV) - The Flight 93 Memorial's official dedication is planned for Saturday in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, but on Friday, family members of the victims were allowed at the site.

Visitors placed flowers where 40 passengers and crew members were killed.

Gordon Felt, the President of Families of Flight 93 lost his brother, Edward, who was from Clinton, in the attack.

"That site represents the final resting place to our loved ones and to know that it's protected and under the care of the National Park Service is a sense of comfort it provides to the families," Gordon Felt said.

Edward Felt was traveling to San Jose, for work, when his flight was hijacked.
