DECISION 2009: New Hartford Town Supervisor Forum - Segment 1

(WKTV) - The candidates for New Hartford Town Supervisor answered questions Tuesday in a NEWSChannel 2 Forum. Both Republican Pat Tyksinski and Democrat Bill Morris had a chance to answer the following questions:

Question 1: A significant tax increase has been proposed for the Town of New Hartford, possibly 54%. What will your town administration do to ensure this does not happen again in future years?

Question 2: Governor David Paterson has proposed a 10% tax cut from agencies in the state budget. How will this decrease in funding affect the Town of New Hartford and how will your future administration deal with it?

Question 3: PUBLIC SAFETY - Where do you stand on the heavily-discussed 9-1-1 service consolidation into a county-wide 9-1-1 center?
