LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - With redistricting, the 101st Assembly District now spans parts of seven counties, and this week a downstate man who is running for that Assembly seat currently held by Claudia Tenney of New Hartford, is biking across the entire district.

Brian Maher, 27, is the current Mayor of Walden in Orange County.

On Friday afternoon, he pulled into Little Falls on his bicycle as part of his more than 200 mile trip. He has three more days before he completes his very lengthy trip in New Hartford on Sunday.

Maher says he has spoken with officials as well as residents in many of the towns he has visited on his bike trip.
