Congressional Candidate Lamb opens campaign office

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The 22nd Congressional Race has only a month of campaigning left before Election Day. Democrat Dan Lamb opened up an office in Oneida County.

The office is on Genesee Street in Downtown Utica.

Lamb held a "Meet The Candidate Open House" at the new office. He was on-hand to answer voter questions about the newly formed district.

Lamb is from Tompkins County and was previously a member of Congressman Maurice Hinchey's staff.

Lamb said, "I look forward to helping to bring the resources of the federal government to the needs of this area and make sure we're doing everything that we can to build up this region and make sure that it has strong active, vocal representation in Washington because that's what people tell me is lacking right now. Someone who is going to fight aggressively on their behalf to make sure that their voices are heard in Washington."

Lamb will face off against current Congressman Richard Hanna.

Earlier this week, Hanna officially launched his campaign at his headquarters on Court Street in Utica.
