Hanna continues in Congress as winner in 22nd district

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Congressman Richard Hanna has announced victory in the race for the 22nd District. Challenger Dan Lamb called Hanna to concede.

Hanna received the news at his victory party at Hotel Utica were many of his supporters gathered to celebrate.

Hanna said, "We have the same President, the same House and I expect we'll have the same Senate so, time's up. We have to start to lead. We have to start to do something that's unheard of down there lately and that's compromise."

Hanna was first elected as the 24th District Congressman in 2010 against incumbent Michael Arcuri.
