(WKTV) - Several candidates are vying for the Republican bid for several area and state races.

You must be a registered Republican to vote in this primary election on Tuesday, September 14. Are you registered?

For people out of the area, absentee ballots will be available for pick-up on Saturday, September 11 from 9:00 a.m.  until noon. Their office is located at Union Station in Utica.
