Oneida County precincts slow at reporting results

By ANDREW DONOVAN

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Oneida County Board of Elections took about two hours before they reporting results for Decision 2010 races. According to an official at the Board, precincts did not bring in their polling location's information on time.

New this year, the Board of Elections required polling locations to drive in the computer information to the Sherwood Boehlert Center at Union Station. In past years, precincts were allowed to call in the information.

In the coming days, more will be asked as why the delay occurred. As of early Wednesday morning, there were still 21 precints to not have announced their results.
