Senator Seward addressed a crowd of supporters saying, “The resounding support from voters in both the primary and general election is extremely rewarding. Both victories confirm that my message - lower taxes, government spending restraint and attention to job creation - resonates with those who live and work in the 51st senate district.”

The 51st senate district is made up of parts of Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Herkimer, Otsego, Schoharie, Tompkins and Ulster Counties.
