ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Oneida County Board of Legislators voted Wednesday on hiring law firms to help them win back millions of dollars in Medicaid. Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente says New York State owes Oneida County between 4 and 6 million dollars for overpaying in Medicaid for residents living in mental institutions. The legislature voted unanimously to hire the law firms of Bond, Shoeneck and King; Whiteman, Osterman and Hanna; and the Law Office of Nancy Rose Stormer in the hopes of recovering the payments.
